چکیده
A long-term experiment was conducted at research farm of department Soil Science, PAU to investigate the impact rice straw incorporation (0-10 t/ha/yr) and fertilizer N (0-150 kg N/ha) application on wheat yield Zn fractions after 7 years (2010–17). The treatments were arranged in a split plot design with three replications, (N0, N90, N120 N150) main plots (RS0, RS5, RS7. 5 RS10) sub-plots. Effect of crop residue and nitrogen levels in yield and yield attributing traits of rice under Rice-Wheat Cropping System
A 3- years (2015, 2016 and 2017) field study was carried out at National Wheat Research Program, Bhirahawa, Rupandehi, Nepal to evaluate the influence of crop residues and nitrogen levels on rice. The experiment was conducted in split plot design with three replications. Main plots were two crop residue levels (with crop residues of 30 cm wheat stubble and without crop residues) and sub plots c...

Rice (Oryza sativa) and wheat (Triticum aestivum) are the two most commercially important crops, accounting for more than 40% of global food production. They were domesticated in different climates and differ largely in their growth environments: Rice is tropically cultivated in hot, wet climates, whereas wheat tends to be grown in cooler temperate climates. However, both crops have been bred i...
متن کاملImpact of 15N-labeled rice straw and rice straw compost application on N mineralization and N uptake by rice
Incorporation of plant residues in soil affects N and C content and dynamics. This studydetermined the effects of short-term alternative rice (Oryza sativa L.) residue management on Nmineralization and uptake by rice. Pot and laboratory incubation experiments were established byincorporating 15N-labeled rice straw and rice straw compost in paddy soil. The 15N recovered by riceaveraged 16.6%; mo...
